Where to Buy¶
Recommended Suppliers¶
- Amazon: General components, fast shipping
- AliExpress: Cost-effective for bulk orders
- Adafruit: Quality sensors and modules
- SparkFun: Educational components
- Banggood: Budget-friendly options
ESP32 Variants¶
Common ESP32 boards that work with this toolkit: - ESP32 DevKit V1 (30-pin) - ESP32 DevKit C (38-pin) - ESP32-WROOM-32 based boards
Choosing an ESP32
Any ESP32 with at least 30 pins should work. Boards with more pins (38-pin) offer more GPIO options for expansion.
Voltage Levels
ESP32 operates at 3.3V logic. Ensure sensors are 3.3V compatible or use level shifters.
